Parent Accounts

James Madison High School uses several applications to help parents/guardians track their student's academic progress and receive communications from the school.

NYCSA is your gateway to support and track student progress in their public school education from Pre-K through high school graduation at NYC Public Schools. You can receive updates via text messages or email about school closures, emergencies, and upcoming events directly from NYCPS.

The new NYC Schools Account (NYCSA) Portal will allow you to:
  • See your students grades, test scores and more in My Student
  • Take classes in Parent University
  • Report bullying
  • Access forms for your child
  • Reset your child's DOE account password
  • Access SupportHub
Please ensure your child's blue card is up to date on NYCSA. You can add and remove contacts from the blue card by accessing "Emergency Contacts" in your account.

We will begin using Jupiter, our new online gradebook, at the start of the new semester on Tuesday, January 30. You will be able to view grades and send and receive messages on this system. If you have not already logged into your account, please make sure to check your emails for a link to sign in. If you had an account last year, your login stays the same. Please be aware that students and parents have separate accounts and separate logins.

Operoo
Operoo is an application that allows us to disseminate digital forms for families to easily fill out (i.e. permission slips).
